Lucca your report in the last post is promising to me since I really enjoyed pepper as a kid, but was told as a teenager, by health enthusiasts and health store employees, that it can be responsible for irritating the inner walls of the stomach and they we’re promoting cayenne pepper in its place. I know that cayenne pepper has a lot of vitamin c in it. I hope now that black peeper can be taken off the list of ‘harmful’ foods as I have abstained from it now for decades, when I really desired it on for instance eggs or tomatoes.

It is amazing 🤩 how so many of our preconceived notions of food and reality in general need constant revisions and alternations as this life reveals more and more of its secrets to us daily through friends and ‘foes’.
