I am sorry but I was thinking about turmeric, the root, instead, I wrote curcumin, which is the main active principle of turmeric.

Different from cumin which is another spice with useful phytonutrients like all other spices.

Sometimes curcumin,the active principle of turmeric, is sold in the form of a supplement. Best is to eat the turmeric root both raw and cooked, also the powder is good.
