That's a great photo.

History is fascinating. I wonder where this is. I see people in military uniform, and non-military well dressed. It looks like there's a bar behind the young black man and the white woman smoking. I wonder if there's a colorized version of this photo, no matter the time setting people look the same. Maybe they were better dressed back then. But the same faces through out time. Some people look unamused, others look completely entranced.

I think people in the past were able to hold their concentration much better than today. Less electronics, one thing not in this picture? Cellphones. And how refreshing it is.

There are different kinds of spirits. The Bible even councils us on discerning spirits. Since there are evil and good spirits. It brings up an interesting point; how do we know what spirits have come to us and what their affect is on our own spiritual welfare?

Discerning of spirits is a gift of the Spirit that allows believers to perceive the source and nature of spiritual manifestations and activities. It can help them to see beyond the natural world and discern if a spirit is of God, of the devil, of man, or of the world. It is not a natural or psychic ability, but a supernatural detection system that requires the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. It can affect how believers understand sickness, behavior, relationships, and spiritual gifts.

Brother Bhaktananda once helped me discern a spirit involved in my life.

We all think a bit different.

When I posted this, I thought of myself, and others like you, who practice spirituality (or whatever it is).

I thought that there really is no way to know if we ourselves are the demons. We could be held in such a fashion so that we are compliant to some beings own will. I remember reading somewhere someone said even PY is being fooled, simply because he's either a threat or it's simply a way to control another group of people. Much like governments and religious group coming up with ways to control the masses.

We could be puppets, but not the way we think we are.

For me, I look at all angles. We think things that happen are meant to be for a higher purpose or reason, but, it's equally possible the real truth is hidden.
