Another observation here; I’ve found that people who ‘need’ to be right often have a mechanical, robotic approach and response to people and situations. This is because they have given up spontaneity in a trade for fixed views about themselves and others around them. There is often a deep insecurity about change and renewing their views.

i've experienced this on a personal level too, where a friends need to be right has evolved into borderline personality disorder and is the reason for our falling out. by gods grace we are both saved! loved! beautiful!
these are all lessons before our great exit!
What happens on the macrocosm also manifests on the microcosm. We are all looking for that sweet spot that streams from our soul and gives us happiness. That experience when everything just flows and we witness the beauty and feel the ecstasy of the moment. Sometimes we recognize it happening with wonderful people that elevate our lives including friends. It may hit us like a cool breeze on a hot summer day. A ray of hope thru the cloudy sky. An expansive awareness in the evening stars at nite. One thing is for certain. Meditation opens all doors to these momentary experiences!
Sometimes we can just coast when we hear other people getting defensive or justifying their actions or trying to prove their point of view. There is a freedom in floating above that type of ego.
If we vibrate on the same frequency which is high C we also explore and resonate with ever new joy!
