Unfortunately, the SRF centre in England is nowhere near me- I think it may be because of this that I naturally seem to gravitate towards Ananda, but I know that one may 'only' find the pure form of Guruji's teachings through SRF. I know what you mean about the mere thought being enough to bring to consciousness the feeling which comes from being around a great one. It's a pity that SRF has not yet spread south...

When i was in Michigan i asked SRF if there were any SRFers in my area. You might do that so you can meditate with them. There were many Buddhists in the area i lived at one time. So i helped a Buddhist group get started. Such fond memories. Perhaps you may be a pioneer in your area as well. Never underestimate your abilities. i am glad that you found some solice at Ananda.
