Kelly and Steve; composite chart

Just began to study this ‘fate’ formation in Kelly’s chart with mine to form a unique chart because of its kite formation as seen in the link below….

Is there a Fate Aspect to the Astrology Kite Formation?

The Kite Pattern is much more than a recognizable shape. It also has a traditional association with fate and/or destiny.

This correlation with fate and destiny results from the combination of geometric relationships formed between three distinct astrological patterns. Together these key patterns and the basic root meanings of the different planets involved activate key astrological concepts.

Because of its unusual power, this an energy that is often experienced as fate. An appropriate question to ask at this point is whether or not what is really happening is true “Fate,” or something else? I would assert that in order to understand the meaning of the kite and answer this question about Fate, we first need to breakdown the meaning of the pattern by examining the three individual components of the formation.

The key patterns of the kite are composed of three types of astrological aspects or angles. These angles are formed by the individual planets that create the pattern.

• The first aspect is a grand trine, consisting of three planets approximately 120° from each other. The grand trine is special within its own right and is considered a major astrology pattern.
• The second pattern is a partial grand sextile consisting of three planets. Two of these planets are separated by  approximately 120.° The third planet is located at their mid-point, and forms two separate angles of 60°.
• The third and final aspect is an opposition, in which two planets are approximately 180° from each other.

When all of these patterns are perfectly aligned they form the kite. This pattern can contain as few planets as four. In the sample astrology chart for Winter Solstice 2015, you’ll notice a total of six astrology points consisting of the Moon, Jupiter, North Node, Venus, Mercury, and Pluto. The main point to take away from this discussion thus far is that an astrology kite is uncommon. It’s rare for this many planets to be located at these exact positions in the zodiac.

Overall, the Astrology Kite Formation represents an extraordinary opportunity for growth, creative change, and even a Neptunian type of total metamorphosis and transformation.

Jupiter is in Pisces now transiting our composite Venus by an exact trine to Venus composite in Cancer.

Nice. I love how astrology helps to make sense of life. It's a process and quite the journey. I sure hope for a favorable outcome.

Duality is always part of the various manifestations of this creation including it’s disciplines like astrology. So  in essence we begin to see that ‘unfavorable’ aspects can reflect valuable lessons and spiritual progress in the big picture. At the same time what appear to be favorable aspects can be back sliders in the long run if we fall back into comfortable couch potatoes which does not help our long term goals. Human beings attempt to take the easy way out or short cuts. Who doesn’t like to drink that malt when the money is available and it is a hot day. However as time passes we recognize where all those calories end up and begin to refrain from binges whether they be calories, alcohol, sex, drugs or simply constant worthless entertainment . We’ve been down that road before and remember where it leads. The outcome though pleasurable was not favorable.

We all have to find our personal balance between pleasure and discipline and recognize that many unpleasant things that happen to us in life brought the most meaningful changes and growth to us as spiritual beings. While when we indulged in our own gratifying amusements, we didn’t end up where we had originally planned. In fact sometimes we can be quite grateful for the disciplinary suggestions and observations that a friend or Master can give us. Or in the case of astrology a difficult learning experience presented by Mars accidents, Neptune lies and illusions, Saturn afflictions and tutorials or Uranus shocks and shake ups that come into our lives.
