Spiritual and human love

Keeping Love going is not so easy. I doubt that anyone will be able to love someone permanently if they are the ‘wrong person’ or if they are unhappy with the relationship. That is why relationships dissolve.  We may connect with someone for a time and then lose interest. I have found love that is spiritual in nature is something someone does not lose interest in nor is it lost. Rather it is something that is difficult to sustain.  It is not easy to sustain spiritual love because the mind has its own set of desires and attractions that are separate from spiritual love.

In human love we often lose attraction because of changing desires that interest us overtime. Also we also find that our values are not the same as those of others when faced with changing circumstances. Real love may not ultimately be in human terms but rather in spiritual experience. We think and hope to find real love in other human beings but it may be possible we are seeking real love in the wrong place.
