i would agree with that steve.as you know synastry is a complex area .i have found with friends ,as i am looking for spiritual connections , a link between what is labeled soul indicator in vedic astrology occurs a lot, and can overrule contrary indications.
also i look for karmic connections such as links to the nodes and saturn which give a more fated interaction.as we progress and learn we can transcend more and more of these influences.
