Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

Swami described this mid-point in a mini era for astrology as contrasting forces- an inhalation and exhalation. Today I was reminded of this symbology while reflecting on the experience of time during 2020. This year has felt both as having gone by too fast and having been dragged out. As a material creature bound to time and space, I wonder if this feeling is any way relatable with astrology.

Yea I would say so Eric because of the closeness of the two planets Jupiter and Saturn 🪐 to one another all year. Jupiter wants to expand and Saturn - the planet of time and reflection- wants to slow things down. Your insights are appreciated. Conflicting energies are part of the dualities we experience in life. Accepting them in ourselves and others is a big step to make for most people. However for me it is also a challenge to rise above the dualities that can keep the consciousness in agitation with mental turmoil.

The waves of consciousness flow in one direction then suddenly people and situations change around us and find us clashing with other waves. Gaining access to the depths is the challenge to every meditation. Diving deep below the restless waves that keep our mind in turmoil. The tidal forces we often resist keep us in restless turmoil.

Sometimes we just have to look at what our typical day consists of and how we live it. How much time are we giving to our different daily activities? Many challenges do not have instant solutions. We just go through life with awareness of how we spend the moments.
