No Steve, it's not really isolated. I don't mind your taking the time to express yourself- I'm archiving two videos here in the meantime. After watching the full video of the one I've shared initially I find it both interesting and upsetting. The video below offers so much to think and talk about and it's mostly unedited. Not some rehearsed one sided debate carefully made but crude moments that speak for themselves and captured for a discerning audience. The mob like behavior is nothing new. There were a few students interested in holding a conversation though they were a minority. I'd say those willing to hold an intelligible conversation, to listen or to treat each other with dignity are a minority in the digital communications realm which is sadly creating a minority in the physical realm too. You see, students with opposing views said they were scared to express them on the campus because large groups of students harass people for being different. It's not just college campuses. What's happening now, if we can put it altogether, is very unique and I think it has something to do with the rapid evolution of communications. As I've shared before, private business owners are scared by protesters that loot and destroy buildings. They say things like, "please don't come here. please don't force people to do anything they don't want to do." It seems the majority of people that are acting out violently and talking down to strangers are young, but fear does not discriminate. I told you one of my best friends was recently assaulted by an older woman because she was not 6 foot from her. Anger really is a retarding agent. Pray we not be poisoned.

By chance I happened to stumble across this video by Paul Joseph Watson who made interesting observations and comparisons of cancel culture. I was delighted to find something relevant to the thread.
