I spent quite a lot of time looking over your topics about health, lowering weight and eating in general. I was struck by the fact there seems to be an absence of balance in most of these threads and a common cents attitude. It is important to have balance in the spiritual life as well as in your health. Please do not forget the important contribution McDonald's Big Macs have given to shortening your agony here on earth. Furthermore, a balanced diet is when every McNugget weighs the same.

Has anyone tried laughing gas? You might have to use it if you are genuinely trying to understand (choke  Tongue) Alffies latest post.

hi Alfred E. Newman,

Thank you for bringing some balance to the diet, without balance one could easily tip the scales over !

Speaking of scales...if one is catching fish, it is a good idea to rub some fish oil on them, so they do not bake in the sun ! and if one is out of fish oil, olive oil works wonderful, softens the skin just beautifully and adds to the taste of the fish, yum yum. Lessens the salt intake also.  Grin So thoughtful of you to share your 2 cents with us.

You are barely between here and there. It makes my head swim just to think about it.

You are so not funny, Goosey Goose. I have decided to give up cooking for Lent. Oh it is not Lent yet, well then, make it my new years resignation, no more sharing recipes ! Sorry but you will just have to eat out  Grin Kitchen is closed.

We have much to be grateful for Into Blues has turned a new leaf and will not be dining on us. Quite frankly I usually eat out. I seem to like a restaurant called The Pond.

I heard that Laughing Goose, but no worries, new year, new menu - fruit & veggies sound delightful  Cheesy spinach leaves are delicious !

Just curious what is on the menu at the Pond ? does one need a reservation ? or is this for Geese only ? if one has to swim to get there, count me out - or perhaps there is a carry out menu ? do you deliver, meals on wings ?

Into Blues It is right next to Water Lily Lane. You might be able to waddle right over there with us. Spinach sounds scrumptious as long as the farmers don't  have those awful scarecrows in the field. I only dine with the best. I'll have you know.

Why thank you LG, for the compliment " only dining with the best "  Wink

Of course, right next to Water Lily Lane. I wonder, do you think they serve Water Cress with their spinach salad ? No need to worry about the scarecrows, unless you are a crow !

If you don't mind, I prefer to Sprint rather than waddle - you lead, I will follow.
