thanks steve, i'm really happy to read about your meditations.

when i asked about the past i wasn't sure if the moon had historically been associated as representing the past through various cultures. your reflections have given me more to thinkInk about.

Found your musing of interest to me as well. Found this info on the internet...

In Western and Chinese culture, the moon is associated with feminine energy. By contrast, the sun is associated with masculine energy. Old tales tell us that the moon needs the sun to shine, and vice versa, as these two energies balance one another. Light and dark, day and night, male and female.
