The moon often represents our past. We carry memories from our past that have affected our lives tremendously. We often carry their lessons with us forever this life. Fortunately we are usually relieved of them in future lives. We are given new chances in future lives that is why we do not recall all our mistakes. However we do learn over lifetimes and our future approach to people and circumstances may be quite different. The full moon adds an extra energy to our feelings and can often wake us or had awareness that is not always available to us in more day to day routines. We must remember that a full moon represents an opposition of the Sun and Moon. That is why the moon appears full to us because it is in the opposite sign from the Sun..which is 180 degrees away. This kind of contrast provides a mirror to our ego (Sun) with soul (Moon) reflections. ‘The moon in opposition with the sun suggests a conflict between the masculine and feminine, the past and future, the internal versus the external.’ I have noticed this contrast a lot myself in the last couple days. The intention of others becomes much clearer when we understand their psychic energy. So some of what we experience is challenging and some of it complimentary. The energy and contrast of these two forces is so accentuated that I often find myself up most of the nite on full moons... sometimes I will be up and not recognize what event is taking place till I go outdoors to energize and recognize there is a full moon. It is interesting that tonite I find myself up as well even though the moon is now waning gibbous a bit.
