6Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls before swine. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces.
This is the exact passage running through my mind yesterday when writing this thread,
http://spiritualportal.net/index.php/topic,8889.msg44123.html#msg44123I understand this line as safeguarding your hard to explain experiences from people who have not experienced similar and can not understand. The miracles are a special moment of Realization shared between you and God- and the moment we try sharing with others who do not believe, that experience has the potential to become diminished. It's so close to our Heart you would rather cherish it and reserve your wisdom for the opportune moment- Which isn't always easy to understand when that is.
I have friends who do not believe in ET's and asked me to share why I believe and I took it as an attempt to diminish my personal belief and experiences.
But truly the realization was meant to serve me, make me realize I was becoming defensive and show me how I wish to navigate those kind of moments.
Really cool experience Brother! Thank you for sharing = ) That's amazing
Thanks for explaining that one Eric. I was attempting to grok it! I just thought it was interesting, because i had a friend that had a terrible motorcycle accident and I sympathized with him. But when I discussed his permanent disability… he said something remarkable to me;
Jack Prim said :
“I wouldn’t give up that experience for anything.” He had an out of body experience in which he watched the whole event as a witness. It was one of those near death experiences.
And it surprised me that instead of just some pain; I was able to see the beautiful color of the throat chakra, while having a root canal at the dentist. So here I am thanking God for the pain we experience as well. Pain and suffering have a flip side to them. We can never know what hidden gift 🎁 are in both. Pain led to some remarkable changes in my life, and meeting many remarkable people!
