i don't think anyone intends to come off as a fanatic. most people anyway, i agree with you. we don't always know a good friend from a disingenuous one though, as a student of love, it doesn't matter. it may be that time reveals the true endurance of a friendship- but should we really expect anything?

meditation does help calm the mind, i suppose because i am still impulsive and a novice that i've not developed sufficiently the ability to execute discernment where paranormal phenomena and love are concerned.  what i mean is, lets say you experience something so magnificent and unique that you can't help but shout it off the roof tops? or, what if its because you seek comfort in hoping others might experience similar?

though it may not have been appropriate, it doesn't make the experience less real. and though we may have been operating from a selfish mode, there is still something to gain from it. when the yearning for expression or validation is so strong you take the risk and succumb irregardless of the outcome. in this way, it might be that what has happened was natural- friction or no friction- separation or not, there is something for both parties in that moment. could this be an act of god?

my visions might be a virtual reality but they provide opportunity, sustenance for individual progress.

as for communicating outside linear time, i think there are many examples. faith, love, intent these are languages not bound by mans intellectual capacities or linear expression. we might be able to connect, even if we do not meditate at the same time.

how is it i have a future memory? or have an experience of astral travel where i skipped ahead in time? or an experience of astral travel where i saw someones past?
i saw my parents in their youth, and my mother shared her thoughts with me about my father. i was interviewing them surprisingly.
i saw my parents in old age, past where they are now.
i saw a family mourn over my premature death and i communicated with someone on the other side, somehow connected to the whole thing?
these are just examples that make me think about communication taking place outside of time/space or viewing times not associated with present reality.
