This is a really good post Steve, you got his teachings in a nutshell in a post, not too shabby

Your slant on the spiritual life is more towards Buddhism? i miss meditating with Buddhists. At one time i was involved in starting a Buddhist group in Michigan. It was because of the closeness i felt to a freind. We would meet every week and most often it was just the two of us meditating. Some years ago i went back and she had a full living room with people overflowing in the dining room coming to meditation. This gave me a feeling of accomplishment at some level. sometimes it helps to re-read what we ourselves have posted; Seen thru the light of another's eyes we become more aware of what was meant for us in the translation.
