Hi Steve,

Thank you for sharing, the grasshopper made me think about your message here- as well as the opportunity before us. Yes we are quite humble on the phone and I am sure we'd be more respectful of each other in person than how we've allowed ourselves to behave on the internet.

I'd like to discuss more about, division.

Divisions are okay. It's only when we try to force our way of being unto others that I find disturbance. For instance, my coworkers Uncle believes the Earth is flat. No joke. It's not something you want to share with people. Yet he is an intelligent man(successful in life) and the love they share is quite real. She allows him his opinion, and he hers. There is no oppression there. I'm learning when we take things personal over matters of opinion, it might mean we were hoping others would align with our views. It is also quite difficult to endure someone who would want to convince you of their views- I'm embarrassingly referring to my self. Many times I find a little "something" to validate my views then share to say, "Look! See!"

We share the things that interest us, and we sometimes hope others agree with the content. We are aligned with a lot of "information" that is fed to us through third party-mediums. There is something to be said for addiction and need for entertainment as cautioned by Swami V. I've recently posted a picture in the "Social Media" thread of various stages of the brain- a healthy one vs. one on heroin or even pornography. Lately I am able to take a step back(not without challenge) as I have to reassert my understanding that sometimes there is no convincing people- such is the case with my coworkers Uncle. So I have been given yet another opportunity- to learn how to navigate through these stark differences.

If we feel inclined to rebuttal the other, it is unknowingly out of Love- and therefore, not the prettiest response when offense is taken. Though, is it love for self or love for other? Hmm..
We are all going to be effected by this mini-era. I'd like to remind us that Swami V. said there is no escaping this karmic movement- specifically that RIGHT NOW, at this time, no one will be able to idly sit by or hope to watch from the sidelines. We've all taken a stance, whether we realize it or not, and now we have to move through this mini-era together.

So, thank you for sharing. We can do this and we should remind one another to look at our selves whenever we find conflict because it is only our self that can find peaceful resolution no matter the circumstance.
