available for your listening at www.myspace.com/stevehydonus available for purchase by personal message to Steve Hydonus for the album 'Into Blue'

Once Upon a Memory

Once upon a memory wishes came true
Stars danced in the moonlite
i danced and dreamed with you
woke and heard a song
that stirred our soul along
a path still unknown
a story still untold
majic days...timeless days

all along the boardwalk
passion stirred the heat
thoughts rolled out in thunder
in unrelenting beat

Majic days...Timeless days

Diamond dream we were on a river
Watching the Sun shimmer on the shore
We could smell the leaves burn
as they fell; yellow, red and orange

all along the boardwalk
passion stirs the heat
thoughts roll out like thunder
in unrelenting beat

Majic days...Timeless days

Thank You Charmed. i am inspired by mother nature and the various 'soul stars' that have come into my life. Here i am not using the word 'soul-mate' but rather a term that Paramahansa Yogananda used to describe those special people who come into our lives who are bright stars from the past who we work with. This "true friendship unites two souls so completely that they reflect the unity of Spirit and its divine qualities." Sometimes we work for incarnations towards this goal with others. There is an important SRF lesson on this entitled 'Friendship'. i think it is wonderful when we meet someone else who is truly helping us and we are helping them spiritually. This relationship goes beyond using others and filling the void as in for instance: endless hours on the cell phone or internet without having significant contact.

Beautiful Steve, and so true...

I have to post my favorite that I think of when I think of soul mates, soul stars, or twin souls... IDF _()_

Very beautiful song Steve, mere words just can't quite describe it.

Steve

I like the words ' soul stars ', and what a beautiful description of true friendship. As I was listening to your music this morning, I was drawn to the following verses from your song Demian, which I think fits in quite well with this topic of "special people who come into our lives who are bright stars from the past who we work with "  and This "true friendship unites two souls so completely that they reflect the unity of Spirit and its divine qualities". There is something special when this happens, a Divine connection, and helping one another spiritually is an added blessing from above.

(from Steve's song - Demian)
"Here we are all together
It seems our lives have crossed the same path
Wonderin' where we'll be tomorrow
Yet we're tryin' to be here today

All our lives we've been searching
Tryin' to find some meaning
To this life we've been thrown in clouds drift by
Let the Master to the Mystery be your guide "

blessings,
Into Blue

In many ways I believe it is the intention of divine love to expand such love. When spiritual aspirants confine such love they suffocate that expansion that includes love for all. This is why u rarely if ever see a master with such souls unless u want to speak of the relationship of for instance Mary and Jesus. But even he posed the question; who is my brother, sister mother etc. He gave love to all.

On the contrary I have seen these type of so called soul mate relationships crush long term friendships. But this is my own personal spiritual lesson from such ideas. As soon as I give love in a singular sense there has always been a contrary set of circumstances that reminded me of love for all. In my own experience i have never met two people together as 'soulmates' that could extend that love to others. They have always needed space and separation. Which means it has always been selfish.

Marriage and family I hear is supposed to teach how to love, care, behave with others. Then we're to treat everyone that way.

Doesn't always work out that way though. For some reason, there's always a few egos/personalities here and there that throw a wrench in the works.

Take one of my co-workers for example, please.

Very interesting concept from you.....Your destiny? Perhaps? It is important to take a step back to explore the nature of the relationships we hold in our life.

Some people never come back. They loose connection with friends and loved ones forever. There spiritual life becomes a very narrow personal life venture.

Maybe that is the way they must progress their spiritual life. Maybe that is the way to progress. If you strip it all down there's just you that's left. Realizing God within yourself and within others I believe is different than the old relationships that "come and go".

Progressing spiritually seems quite unlikely if you leave people on bad terms. If it were not for the way we treat others what significance would spirituality have? It is never too late. We can always rectify our actions or lack of them regardless of what response we recieve. Sometimes an apology or an act of kindness is much better than nothing. How can we even use such meaningful words as soulmates, soul flames or soul stars without this lasting quality that makes such words meaningful?

Is it destiny? Yes very much so. Everyones. The destiny is very karmically based.... what we have worked on for life times with those who we are close to and have spent much time together. We cannot control the actions or lack of response from those we share a common destiny with. We can only control our own responses. That is our spiritual responsibility. That is what makes us what we are. That is and will make our spiritual destiny!

Maybe we will always be confronted with egos that exhibit bad behavior, and therefore can provoke. Those interactions are just pulling me back down when I want to go up. You can sugar coat your words to anyone you wish all you want, and try to rectify any situation honestly from the heart.

But it still comes down to the self, and God communion.

Karma and those who come into ones life path, whether good terms or bad, ones destiny, and spirituality..... all a part of the life journey. Does it not all interconnect to make us who we are and progress karmically? Soul connections come in all forms. Recognition, awareness and acceptance are ways to understand why paths have crossed and also help us to clearly see the reason that these meetings resonate so deeply within our souls. I  do believe that Karma is something that bonds people together. If there is no resolution to a problem that occurs between two people then those two people have until the end of this life or the next to resolve it. Once the balance is corrected and the inbalance is righted, then  this person usually leaves within a matter of days, weeks or years and you never see them again. We're all connected karmically. So, eventually in the end.. are we not all soulmates, soulstars? with one common goal, in spirituality? (many just haven't found that out yet in their life journey) One has the opportunity to experience every facet of belief until it has a taste of it's own true path that lies within. Anger, vanity, attachment and greed help insure endless rounds of births and re-births in it's unconscious or, conscious search for spiritual freedom. Spiritual freedom is the final release from the Karmic worlds. May be that some are just progressed further than others.

It seems quite likely that many of our contacts with those close to us-who leave-create more karma for themselves. Why? Because more inbalance is created in the process.

Some of our contacts fit more closely  the definition of soulmates and soulflames. Why? Because their spiritual evolution and understanding more approximates our own.

Maintaining a balance in karma.

Sure we are all spirits. All connected. Spiritually. Being connected karmically maybe as far as what we perceive in others maybe a reflection of oneself.

I dunno. I've always been mostly a loner. I'm not one that joins a stadium and cheers together. I'm the sheep that wanders away from the pack. My job even I do mostly alone, and, I get more done that way. Less distractions means more concentration. We all get comfortable I guess.

I'm not saying soulmates and soulflames have no benefit. But I think past experiences with others we all deal with differently don't we.

Thing is, I don't have many friends or soulmates. Probably next to none. Most of the people I've met in my life have just been "friendly" but nothing to the heart.

Not all of us experience this "connection" that causes both to realize they are soulmates.

There is only one absolute. Only one true trusting friend. I'm here for that. There are many paths...
