On the contrary I have seen these type of so called soul mate relationships crush long term friendships. But this is my own personal spiritual lesson from such ideas. As soon as I give love in a singular sense there has always been a contrary set of circumstances that reminded me of love for all. In my own experience i have never met two people together as 'soulmates' that could extend that love to others. They have always needed space and separation. Which means it has always been selfish~Steve
Very interesting concept from you.....Your destiny? Perhaps? It is important to take a step back to explore the nature of the relationships we hold in our life.
Some people never come back. They loose connection with friends and loved ones forever. There spiritual life becomes a very narrow personal life venture.
Maybe that is the way they must progress their spiritual life. Maybe that is the way
to progress. If you strip it all down there's just you that's left. Realizing God within yourself and within others I believe is different than the old relationships that "come and go".
Progressing spiritually seems quite unlikely if you leave people on bad terms. If it were not for the way we treat others what significance would spirituality have? It is never too late. We can always rectify our actions or lack of them regardless of what response we recieve. Sometimes an apology or an act of kindness is much better than nothing. How can we even use such meaningful words as soulmates, soul flames or soul stars without this lasting quality that makes such words meaningful?
Is it destiny? Yes very much so. Everyones. The destiny is very karmically based.... what we have worked on for life times with those who we are close to and have spent much time together. We cannot control the actions or lack of response from those we share a common destiny with. We can only control our own responses. That is our spiritual responsibility. That is what makes us what we are. That is and will make our spiritual destiny!
