I just 'happened' to be in an office waiting for an appointment and I read some of the recent news that Brock and/or Art put at the top of the forum. It was a detailed procedure on meditation and spiritual practice by Ramana Maharshi. No doubt I will refer to it again periodically and I do hope it stays there. It is nice to find gems of wisdom hiding here and there on the forum. For sometime now I have wondered about Maharishi's 'technique' or approach to meditation. This has helped quite a bit. I think that most of us who have spent much time at the practice of meditation and finding a way to absolve the restless dance of thoughts are constantly looking for new ways as well as using old ways we have been given to evaporate the endless procession of thoughts and identifications that enter our stream of consciousness throughout the day and in our fanciful dreams at nite. When we we are in the stream and flowing with it without the obstruction of our own thoughts life seems to make more sense and we become part of the stream of joy that flows from within.
