Since this is a spiritually centric forum I suspect it is best that I introduce myself
with this in mind.   :^)

I had my first spiritually related experience around the age of 12 (or so :^) and the rest
has been odd-as-the-dickens since.   I'm now 54 and seem to be finally settling down into
a rhythm of experience that I can live with, both in a fun as well as serious way.  This has
been a most complicated ride....

I like the gentle feel to this forum!   And the soul who invited me is the very essence of
gentility and charm....  (psssst thanks Into Blue  :^)

I'm looking forward to getting to know who she's now calling her friends!

This is something of a short intro, but I do tend to talk a lot, so I'll likely be introducing myself
for some time to come....   :^)

Thank you for the welcome Blue Nova    :^)

And being new I just figured out that I have to press the "Notify" button in the upper-right tool bar of each thread to
then receive the follow-up postings for that thread.  Also needed to go into Profile>Notifications and Email> and then click on the
necessary boxes there as well.   I'm on several forums so I tend to need these kinds of notifications in order to know when to
return to an ongoing thread.....  the email notification thingy is a wonderful option!

I'm looking forward to seeing your postings on the forum Blue Nova!    :^)

Thanks Steve i have not used the 'notify' button. i am yet at a loss of how this helps since as soon as you open the post you can see the followups. What am i missing? For me i would be inundated if i was to press notification to my email. Glad it works for you. Thanks for the tech info and welcome to you from another Steve.

Hi Steve, and thank you for the welcome!   :^)

The email notifications for me are a godsend!   I'm on several forums, and participate in a fair number of threads so
I understand what you mean by being inundated.   Sometimes I am....!   But the real magic to this is that sometimes a
thread would go dormant for a time and then someone would come along and post in that thread and then once again
a most interesting discussion can re-awaken.    And if one bounces around a forum like I do it's so easy to miss a reply
in an area of the forum that I rarely visit.   I've been forum hopping on and off  since the very early 90's,   all the
way back to the BBS days, pre-internet.  When the email notification thing finally took hold I was thrilled to no end with
this welcomed addition.  It fits so well into my normal posting habits....!

Thanks again for the welcome Steve...!    :^)

Thank You Into Blue (place Hugging icon here :^)

It's really different to be referring to you by another handle!  The other was so reflexive, I'm sure in time this
will be likewise as well!

The forum makes up for it's general quite activity with a group of some wonderfully gentle souls!   Thank you
so much for letting know this was here!   I'm looking forward to a most informative stay!!   :^)

You are welcome Stephen (((hugs)))

Just remember that blue is my favorite color and Into Blue should come easily to mind. It is also the name of Steve's second cd, you can check out his beautiful songs & music by clicking on his myspace link or his website.

He also has a video of one of his songs posted here in the music section, Travelling Song. I just love his music, can you tell ?

I just mozied over and checked out Steve's video.....  Nicely done!!   Now
I know he says he's from Zanasphere in his personal description so I'm thinking
that Zanasphere must be somewhere in the south..... I loved the quiet country setting
that was behind him in the video !  And I just ran by his Myspace page and recognized his
first video from the other forum we spent time on...  Steve must be a veteran from there
as well!   It's a very small world!    And I also just saw a song entitled Into Blue on his
Myspace page.... is there a story behind that one....?    :^)

Thank you for the heads-up on his talent!      :^)
