Steve, that was when I was a young man, until 27 years of age, presently I do not practice restraint, although with age the slavery subsides at last.
Yea I get it mccoy. I practice control and restraint. I practiced celibacy at one time, for several years, but it doesn’t seem to suit me now. I find almost habitually that what comes with sex is undesirable but having an attraction to another human being inspires me to exercise and stay in shape. I think there is really beauty in the human form which can be appreciated but obviously 🙄 this is skin deep, and without some spiritual affinity it is difficult to maintain a lasting relationship and connection with others. Spirituality doesn’t seem to give me that type of motivation. Spirituality does however give me a tremendous motivation to be free of the entrapments of this material creation. And, to experience various states of consciousness associated with meditation and spiritual enlightenment.
