I suppose you could say there were some redeeming consequences. Since, I’m also aware of the slavery I had particularly as an adolescent. That led to my interest in Buddhism and eastern religion and spiritual practices. From my point of view Christianity has no remedy or guidelines that make any sense practically for the ‘raging harmones’ of this period of life.
