I am happy for you and your path Eric. When I received both the IAM and Kriya techniques- you speak of here - I was asked not to reveal these techniques to others so anyone interested could get them from Amma or Paramahabsa Yogananda’s representatives—who are authorized to teach them.

There are two reasons I see for doing this and not teaching the techniques to friends and acquaintances.

1. If people teach others pretty soon the techniques are diluted and are not taught the same way they were originally designed by their creators.

2. Paramahansa Yogananda has stated that in practicing these techniques 25% is the effort and practice of the devotee...25% the blessings of the Guru and 50% the grace of God. Amma has also made similar statements saying that 10% of the results of practice are from the devotees daily practice of them and up to 90% is the help of the Guru—in this case Amma herself.

3. Since I have personally witnessed miracles from both Amma and Paramahansa Yogananda I choose to follow their instruction and advice on such matters since I see them as Masters which places them at a level of divine protection and grace which something normal humans are unable to transmit to one another.
