Getting into the spine

From years of practicing meditation it seems to me the most important thing to do is to get into the spine because the spine is the alter of God. Here I am not talking about the physical spine but rather the astral spine. Since we as human beings have three bodies;

1. the physical body
2. the astral body
3. the causal body

We return to the astral body and astral universe after our journey in this life is completed. But as long as we have physical desires we cannot stay there but must return here eventually in the physical realm in a new body.

It seems fascinating to me that we are encased in three bodies. Paramahansa Yogananda said that if you could see rite behind the surface of these physical bodies it would look hideous. Although he describes the astral lites emitting from most souls astral bodies as beautiful radiations.

Coming back to this thread almost a year later, there must be some importance for a devotee in understanding the astral spine.
