This clashing of truths seems more like the rubbing of sandpapers against each other. Belief's go through an evolutionary process and eventually culminate into faith. Greater than any debate or altercation is putting into practice one's belief's.

So now I feel like sharing my opinion. Can it be accepted here? I believe in God and Soul. I believe this body and this soul are gifts from our Mother Earth and God. I believe God is Love, but do not fully know what this means. I pray to God though I pray, "I'd like to meet you." I believe our body will cease to exist so to get acquainted with this transition on a daily basis... I believe to Love others and do good for others to the best of my ability. I prefer nonviolence and understand we all tread unique paths. The only war I wage is within myself.


On a separate but not separate line of discussion... Here the beliefs of the Sufi may put Truth in better perspective...


To further elaborate on the mission and the methods employed to develop one's inner life, Inayat wrote:

There are ten principal Sufi thoughts which comprise all the important subjects with which the inner life of man is concerned;

3) There is one Holy Book, the sacred manuscript of nature, which truly enlightens all readers.

5) There is one Law, the law of Reciprocity, which can be observed by a selfless conscience together with a sense of awakened justice. Furthermore unless we help others in having an awakened sense of justice are not neglecting our spiritual role in helping others with our own spiritual sharing and knowledge of what real justice is as presented by the gurus and a Masters we follow?

6) There is one human Brotherhood, the Brotherhood and Sisterhood which unites the children of earth indiscriminately in the Fatherhood of God.

7) There is one Moral Principle, the love which springs forth from self-denial, and blooms in deeds of beneficence.


10) There is one Path, the annihilation of the false ego in the real, which raises the mortal to immortality and in which resides all perfection.


The objectives of the Sufi path:

1) To realize and spread the knowledge of unity, the religion of love and wisdom, so that the bias of faiths and beliefs may of itself fall away, the human heart may overflow with love, and all hatred caused by distinctions and differences may be rooted out.

#3 above If there is only one book; The sacred manuscript of nature. How can we allow our leaders to destroy it?

#5 and #10 How can we have an awakened sense of justice when our leader strikes fear and intimidation in his people by revoking our/their first amendment rights? How can we work towards the annihalation of the ego for us all when our leader demands that the only way we can speak about him is in an adulation mode to support his ego in every way? How can there be reciprocity when only 1% of the population own over 90%of the resources of our nation and people are not payed according to their services but rather they are payed as low as is possible so that the few can enjoy the material blessings of the nation while over 60 million in our country live in poverty and have been left behind in what was once a land of opportunities?

Clapper stated that while America’s survival doesn’t hinge on whether Brennan or any of the other people under review keep their security clearances, “The larger issue here, to me, has — throughout, has been infringement on First Amendment rights, and I think people ought to think seriously about that.”

Clapper later added, “f I lose my access to classified information, it really doesn’t have any immediate, substantive impact on me. I don’t plan to stop speaking about, you know, when I’m asked my views on this administration. There are some things I’ve agreed with, that this administration has taken — actions they’ve taken, but lots of things that I don’t agree with. So, if they’re saying that I can’t — the only way I can speak is to be in an adulation mode of this president, I’m sorry. I don’t think I can sign up for that.”

#6 How can we think of a brotherhood of countries and human beings when we have a leader who constantly makes slanderous remarks that are sexist bigoted and against other cultures and derogatory to citizens of other nations?

#7 How can the law of benifence manifest when we see no self-denial in our leaders but rather self-opulence and self inflation of ego and pride?

The objectives of the Sufi path:

1) To realize and spread the knowledge of unity, the religion of love and wisdom, so that the bias of faiths and beliefs may of itself fall away, the human heart may overflow with love, and all hatred caused by distinctions and differences may be rooted out.

2) To discover the light and power latent in man, the secret of all religion, the power of mysticism, and the essence of philosophy, without interfering with customs or belief.

3) To help to bring the world's two opposite poles, East and West, closer together by the interchange of thought and ideals, that the Universal Brotherhood may form of itself, and man may see with man beyond the narrow national and racial boundaries.

#3 above. How can we see beyond the narrow national and racial boundaries when we have a president that encourages those distinctions thus influencing our young people to do the same.
