I find I am selfish and wanting things in this realm
Perhaps i need to slow down today and meditate

Yes Brother it becomes apparent why we are 'prisoners' in this realm when we analyze our desires.
The way i see it we will never be free of these desires unless we find a fulfillment that is more alluring then the objects presented to us in this realm. That is why we are looking for that hidden treasure in meditation.
