Steve, if our parts have been designed we are being mere puppets.
We have to stop and take critical decisions in our life. Those decision which will influence the future direction of our life. Of course such decisions are significantly influenced by karma, they still are decisions coming out of our free will. Past events, former lives karma, demonic and saintly suggestions, even some random event may contribute.
