To your comment... If it surprises people then I can only add it says a lot about assumptions and to note the difference of reading words on a screen versus exchanging words over the phone. Two different dynamics. But the more we talk over the phone, the easier it is to see the other person behind the screen. To understand and to feel un-phased by difference of opinion.
Yes it certainly appears that way. There are yet more dynamics to any relationship. Seeing each other in person and meditating together being a couple others.
