Yes happiness is our goal and what we truly are. All else is secondary. Because when we are truly happy we have no desire or needs. We are fulfilled. But even though we will always look outside for our happiness (until we are enlightened) we are blessed to have the option and company that reinforce our inner happiness and finding it in the cultivation of meditation practice.
