Hope u do not mind this suggestion. It is something I did as a child when I did have nite mares. I reasoned with myself that I did not want to have them. I told myself before going to sleep that I would remind myself during my nightly dreams that I was only dreaming and wake myself if I had bad dreams.

I would have a nite mare and during the dream I would hear this little voice say ' you are only dreaming...wake yourself up'.  And so...I would. 2ndly  if u are watching anything that is horror oriented stop watching them ....they influence the subconscious mind from which dreams usually originate.🙂
