Hi mccoy i see that kiwis are grown in Italy as well. Not here in Michigan. For some unknown reason they are on sale here this week: four for a dollar! So i have been eating a lot of them.

Steve, I'm glad you can enjoy some fresh fruit once in a while. first world producer is New Zealand. Italy is next I reckon, or it used to be.

Kiwi is very refreshing and has proteolitic enzymes, lots of vitamin C as well.

One variety which is inordinately exquisite is yellow pulp kiwi, It's just superlative, I don't know if you had the regular variety or the yellow one in the forefront:

Yes i agree.... i think that is another blessing of living in Italy.....we get only one color in the states. But it is nice to have the green ones too.
