I am new on this spiritual path, many thanks for your help along the way. I will read more about Yogananda and Amma.
At some point we must realize that God does not immediatly come to the devotee and say 'Here I am'. God is shy and does not throw out revelations to those who still (this is also an accurate portrayal of my life) vacilate on the spiritual path.
I am sure it takes many long years and deep devotion for God to appear.
