While i have similar views i think we know now that whether someone believes or has experienced a God or not we do know the benefits of meditation and most of us concur on that. If i meditate with a buddhist who believes him/her self to be an atheist or a Hindu who may believe in many facets of God.... there is something happening in consciousness that occasionally we experience together as an upliftment we sense as an outcome of group energy and dynamics in meditation.
