Spiritual Evolvement

Woke up to the (dream) memory of seeing many soul beings spiritually progressing. Some much quicker and others much slower. Is it possible to become more spiritual more quicker? To come to our spiritual potential more rapidly? i think so. i believe people can make a conscious choice to become their potential in this life time or at least make rapid progress towards enlightenment. Also; that there a factors to help facilitate this advancement and awareness.

All life along an imaginary timeline is illusory. Yet we do seem to b here talking about it and my comments did elicit a response from someone or something. Your comment came after mine in that imaginary illusory timeline. Look to the illusory times of entry for validation.

There is physical clock time, which is a measurement created by us, but there is no psychological time (it's only an idea - the memory of things past and the fear or desire of things to come) and no evolution of consciousness. And even if there were, whatever it produced would be impermanent. According to Vedanta, that is only real which is unchanging and ever the same.

Seeking spiritual or material (which are different only in name) fulfillment through time is one of the main activities of the ego.

i see that u have submitted two responses since my last response. U can see them as the writing is there and one of them was written 'before' this entry with a clock on it that says "Now". It was written 'after' my response in which i said " All life along an imaginary timeline is illusory. "  Were u 'thinking' when those responses were being written that all "seeking spiritual or material (which are different only in name) fulfillment through time is one of the main activities of the ego." Yes it is a "memory of the past" that is written in time "a measurement created and used by us." Now i am responding and i was experiencing meditation. U may call it seeking if u would like... that is your perception. From where does such a perception arise? Since mine is different? How is it different? You are talking about someone who is "seeking through time as the main activity of the ego". i say someone is experiencing... various levels of enlightenment. i would rather experience then think of people who seek through time and their ego. Choose as you wish.
