Steve, as St. Peter turned from fisherman of fish to fisherman of souls, brock was mayhaps trying, by subtly applying the relevant principles of internet-users psycology, to attract some sincerely interested soul-fish in the the spiritual nets of this forum. He may even have been successfull, though the result is not immediatly visible.
I'm pretty sure though he is devoid of attachment to the results of his action, hence of the ensuing karma.

They take us on a rather foreign tour and have an appreciative inquiry for an audience. There r often as many slants as there r people. The trick is to b receptive when they warrant attention. A good friend will always let us know if our thinking has taken a wrong turn. i remember Sri Yukteswar asked Yogananda himself to help him if he ever strayed too far away from the truth.
