Folks who are interested in quality audio are a small group.

The "specialist professionals" are normally interested in scientific results, as they cannot "hear" the difference anyhow. This article was a digression into mastering (and partly digital), which is only a part of the discussion on audio.

It may interest you to know that some of us can hear the difference (sometimes a very large difference) between differently constructed interconnects used from say a preamp to an amp. Even though all the scientific measurements say they measure the same.
