Biological Necessities

i have become more and more aware of how myself and others around me are bound by biological 'needs'. This can include such things as comfort as in a place to live and a way of getting around in transportation. Good food. Sufficient rest. Companionship. Sexual release and satisfaction. Warmth and coolness depending on the environment outside. Feeling healthy. Money to get around visit and take care of things that are not in the home environment. We are incredibly controlled by such biological considerations and many of our choices are dictated by these factors. How do we free ourselves from these perceived needs? This may be an important part of our spiritual awakening; to recognize how much we are actually bound by the body and its so called needs. When some of these comforts are taken away we become very acutely aware of our dependence upon them.
