Steve, right now I cannot open your latest link so I'm going to do that later.

I'm pretty doubtful about the description of the body as reported in the article you previously linked. If it has a Jupiter-like mass and clearance and it si orbiting about the sun it would meet the criteria of the IAU. But it doesn't, since it has not officially been recognized as a planet.

So what is it according to proper scientific definition? a comet, a centaur, a trans-neptunian object... Huh?
