Intereststs; Meditation/Spiritual Life

I have had some exquisite Kriya yoga mediation experiences in the past. It came through an extended, ecstatic meditation period which lasted (in it's intenseness) about 3.5 years. All the time, I was being guided by a teacher who had promised he'd show me the light, when I had asked him to. Although he wasn't with me every day, I was able to see him 2-3 times per month, mostly on weekends during these years.
The practice then finally brought it's desired result (which I'm not gloriously going to describe here in public). Suffice it to say, it completely changed me in every aspect of my life, and the change continues to this day.
Why am I writing this?
Because even I, who have learned going into samadhi now in an instance of only a thought, I tend to forget to practice the presence throughout the day. Also, it is not like I can do wonders (in opposition to my teacher) - when I fart it still doesn't smell like roses, and so on.
And I always keep forgetting the presence throughout the day. The body (even after all these meditation-induced changes of central nervous system, etc.) - thisbody still remains the same old donkey it was right before he knew what meditation was......

So keep your chins up, folks. And don't forget to remind yourselves of the presence of the divine in you, and all around you, at all times!

What I do is, I go in the fontanel.. and that light up there never goes out again, as my beloved Peter had promised when I asked him this.

It helps to have other devotees thinking and practicing the presence around us. Reminding us in our sadhana. I like your last post here. I’ve had similar experiences to what you described above. Life is never ‘normal’ again after those moments. We always think of them and want to be in those states of ecstasy again, and so we make every attempt to align our lives in that direction.
