Why don’t I want to meditate?

I often ask myself this question. It is like a thought that only lasts so long because inside there is something stirring in each one of us that seeks love. We may find diversions in our search. We are bombarded with distractions but we also have the inspiration of the towering figures and loving influences who come in our lives and remind us who we are and what we aspire for. When we see that God is inspiring us through the kindness and joy that we get glimpses of in others we attend back to our seva, worship and meditation again willingly and devotedly with no hesitation. Instead with the power of our own God given will to move forward towards our aspirations and the richness of what we are.
