i have been exposed to many mentally unbalanced people in my life some i have initially met on the internet but most of them have been during my life. That is probably due to the fact that internet is a rather new phenomena for a lot of us. However the more we are in a certain environment we will meet many people that  habitat that environment and from all avenues of life.

i believe it is important that many of us are called to help such people. Everything that comes in our lives has in fact come from God especially if we have a guru so we must recognize that he has sent us people and circumstances to help us and who we can help along the way, Even though they may not know how to b lasting friends with us. In my life i have met three of them who later committed suicide. This shows the importance of their needing our help.

We must also be aware of the fact that since some of them r mentally ill they may think that we have done them wrong when in fact they have created their own world and imagined that we are part of that inner world that quite often amounts to their own inner hell. They may believe that we are responsible for some of the pain that is in their world. Some of these people may be paranoid and believe that everyone is out to get them including us. i have also met some that have no sense of humor and will take you and everything they read quite literally. Although still in some unusual way of having a need to have companionship they do not leave us or come back to us. This is because their own world is often so lonely.

 What is paranoia?

Paranoia refers to feelings of distrust, suspicion, or persecution that are not based in reality. Paranoia is a kind of delusion in which a person thinks he or she is being singled out in a negative way. People with paranoia will look for evidence to prove they are being singled out, and refuse to see that they have an exaggerated view of their own significance.

The exact cause of paranoia is not known. Paranoia is more common in men than in women, though the exact prevalence of paranoia is not known. Paranoia is a mental and emotional symptom of many types of mental illness, including paranoid personality disorder and paranoid schizophrenia. There are many types of paranoia.

Paranoia is characterized by delusions that others have hidden motives or a wish to harm you, feelings of mistrust and hostility, a sense of being persecuted, and social isolation and withdrawal. Paranoia should be evaluated by a mental health care practitioner. It is often difficult to treat paranoia, because people with paranoia are frequently suspicious of medical intervention.
