Keep trudging mccoy your buddies are close behind! You're fortunate to have the beach... i have a big park with streams and places to meditate in the woods. I'm going to go jogging there and set in the beauty of nature and pray for you and friends here at spiritual portal.
The beach is great for running, level, soft reaction knees-friendly, under a full moon it's just awesome.
It's not good for meditation though, since it lacks secluded areas and your park is probably best.
Unless I'm going to try with a camping chair by night. I might just do that, by night it's deserted.
