Unless i am mistaken... these are your words. i would say desirelessness is a dedication to a spiritual principle. That is that the more desires we have the more baggage we have and the more problems. Those who have no personal desires and are not attached to the fruits of action are free. There is nothing to stop their spiritual awareness and expansion. Desire binds us to this body. Desire brings us back over and over to earth. Desires are endless because each time we come to the material planes there are new desires to attract us here and to attain or have.
