Amma has said that if you see difficult karma that other people have consider it your karma to help them. It is a spiritual law that unless we are compassionate towards others we can not expect to expand our own consciousness and we will be limited in our own circumstances and life.
True Socialism and greed for power are contradictions. People are often complicated mccoy. Not all good. Not all bad. I'm guessing that it is easy to let power get to your head. Is that what happened to a 'great thinker' like Mussolini who was expunged from the socialist party? Great thinking does not seem to be enough if it is not tempered with spiritual wisdom. Apparently he was praised by Yogananda for being a 'great thinker'. It may be difficult to know what choices an individual will make. Even a Master may not entirely know as we also saw in the decision Jesus made in making Judas his disciple.
The study is interesting especially since you are from Italy. We have many people who rose to power here in the states who also let it get to their head. The list is too long to elaborate.
