After having browsed the most recent posts following Steve's suggestion, I came across the Bakhtananda posts, dated 20 August.

So maybe a visit is meant to be a visit in the list of recent unviewed posts, if I open the list then the list empties.

Whereas the 'show new replies to your posts' list does not empty until I answer.

I Will confirm tor deny that.
