Steve, I too was ruminating on the sun binary system as proposed by sri Yukteswar and presently by teh Binary Research Insitute.

We must aknowledge that an eventual sun dual is still elusive, that is there si no proof yet. It might be one of the neutron stars above described, an incredibly tiny star, invisible, which has a mass Greater than the sun, so its gravity field influences the sun's orbit.

In modern astronomy the models are such that such an influence should be testable, but apparently it is not so.

So, we are not sure yet, accordin to present science,  if Sri Yukteswar intuition was exact and if our sun really has a dual, although the bianry research institute is actively busy in looking for signs.

Science is not errorless but today's astronomy is capable of incredible facts. I'll leave it at that.
