Steve, I still cannot share your significant acrimony against the bible, although I agree that it has unignorable limitations

I respect your interest in it. I do not see it as any acrimony except that many, many, many Christians have wasted spiritual time in which I /they  could have been meditating when instead that time was wasted on debating the Bible and converting me. I see this as nothing less then what you call the acts of the devil trying to keep us in the mind stirred up and in constant turmoil and imprisoned in kali yuga religion with no time to liberate ourselves in the fresh air of modern spiritual literature and influences.

It took me years to realize what was really happening. The subtle  ways of maya and the devil find no better place to ferment and cause strife then in the minds and documents of spiritual seekers.
