There will have to be a faster way to travel if ever want to reach something like this in our physical world. The speed of light isn't fast enough.
I believe the speed of thought energy could do it.
Will we ever have that God-like power on a physical plane?
Basically NASA is telling us 3 things:
1) Bears shit in the Woods, that is :there are earth like planets, one thing which was so certain statistically, only the medieval geocentric Church would have told the opposite
2) We know now the Woods where the bears shit, that is the stellar systems where earth-like candidates are. Even though we do not know if there is sentient life.
3) We know that we'll never be able in this life to go and see the bears shit in their woods, since they are so far away that what we see now happened 500 (Kepler 186f) or 1500 (keple 452b) years ago.
Unless an incredible breakthrough in stellar navigation happens, those planets are forbiddingly far away.
They say in 2024 a new program will start the search of exoplanets in closer systems with brightest stars.
