Sorry I was mixing the exoplanets up. the present excitment is about Kepler 452b, Always in the cygni constellation, but orbiting around the 452 star.
I take my considerations on teh journalists errors back, it's 1400 light years far, thrice the distance of Kepler 186f.
It seems to be more promising than Kepler 186f as far as earth-similarity goes.
